some cheaky snaps of the school cellar...

Entrance of the cellar.

Cold brick flooring.

Another entrance to the cellar.

An old mirror which could be useful.

Long and narrow passage which carries on for FOUR MILES!!

We could have the 'silhouette' on the left and the two girls on the right which would be effective.

Lighting may be a bit too bright.  We will have to experiment with torches etc.

HOW SPOOKY :o

It was great to be able to explore the cellar. We discovered lots of separate rooms off of the huge cellar including the four mile passage! We brought the two actresses with us to the cellar to make sure they would not be too scared and would be comfortable working in the environment. Hopefully we will go back down there soon to make some planning of where to place the camera, the lighting levels etc.

AUDITIONS

Holly and I decided to hold auditions for our movie to make sure we are getting actors who don't get embarrassed in front of the camera, speak clearly, how believable as a character they would be and whether they were too busy to be committed to our movie, these are quite important factors. We auditioned about 10 people and have chosen 4 to take part in our movie; Beth, Sorcha, Tara and Radhika. Two of these will be acting and the other two will be narrating. We made sure that these girls were committed and were able to be free at different times for filming. It was very exciting setting up the auditions, unfortunately the video is not able to load onto the computer to show the auditions we filmed. Next is for more planning of the film and expanding ideas.

Thriller

Recently i watched The Fog 2005. It gave me inspiration for our movie beginning. Have a look at the link below, i love the way it is filmed and the eeriness of it.

It would be difficult to make it as amazing as this but it gives a good idea on how to create the creepy feel to a movie.
